And Most People live their stories usually unconsciously and for the most part replaying the negative effects their experiences have had on them. Rewinding the scenes thru various circumstances trying to make the ending change to a more favorable one. However the Stories that I want to bring light too is the positive lessons learned from our stories. Yes even the most horrific or disturbing ones.

But lets start out on a lighter side for this post. What I want  you to concentrate on now is the thought that you have something valuable to offer others in your life and beyond.  Wether it is how to cook because of your experince and time spent with Mama or Grandma. How to garden and grow plants, landscape beautifully, grow the greenest and most lush lawn in the neighborhood. Crafting, fixing cars, renovating. The list could go on.

We have experienced life usually out of common necessity to eat, work, play, and save money…that is a big one. We learn all kinds of things everyday. Would you like to pass on that knowledge to more than just your kids or the cat and dog. Well there are so many others younger or encountering some situations for the first time that would love to get a jump on the school of hard knocks and save valuable living time.  That is one of the reasons You tube has exploded as the second ranking search engine. People post and search out instruction and information on How to do something.  Everything and anything is posted. But the challenge I pose to you and ME is that these courageous people step up and offer their wisdom for free so that I can learn and grow. They enrich my life and I appreciate each person that bothered to put their time in so I could learn something or even be entertained without commercials.

I have been extremely challenged by this notion the last year. To share what many in my personal life have encouraged me to share with others. Not just in my 10 mile radius. Not just with family, friends and colleagues but with a much larger audience. Now thru the Internet that is so possible and doable. But to do that I have to not only write but to record myself on video. Our media orientated generation myself included want to see and hear and experience our information and who is passing it on to us.

Videos help us understand and have a richer experience to the information or story we are trying to tell, think of how Oprah has touched our lives thru her profiling guests. No problem right? My husband videos me fishing all the time and at family events. At first I thought this would be a piece of cake but when I set out to do just that…I couldn’t believe how I choked on my own words. All of a sudden I started to get camera shy and all kinds of doubt and insecurity emerged. I have never been one to feel that way talking about what I love…matter of fact you can’t shut me up but now I am tongue tied….what the heck.

I have hours of video that I need to edit and am determined to accomplish this task so that I can share with others my insights, support and story….why? To help others, to pass on what I have learned to someone that may need it. For posterity….to make a record for my children. To matter and fulfill a purpose. To make life easier, enjoyable, understandable. Every one of us can help another with what we know. No thing is too small or unspiritual if it helps another person it doing anything your input has value. If this thought peeks your interest as something you might want to do. To stretch your horizons. To promote your business and save time to spend with your family by recording what you know once to clients or co-workers. Or to even do videos that enrich an experience like vacations, weddings family gatherings that you share online. I encourage you to do so.

The saying goes Physician heal thyself…teach what you know by doing what you teach.
